Need carpet

I have done some searches, can't find a source.

I built a Cargo box for the back of my 97 4dr XJ to hold all the trail/wheelin stuff, and now I need to cover that nasty lookin plywood. I wanted to cover in truck bed liner stuff, but I wanted grey like the carpet, and nobody sell just a can or two in grey, all they have is white or black. (no I am not going to speckle it white and black! LOL)

So I have decided I can deal with carpet if I can find something CLOSE to the stock grey/charcoal color.

Where can I buy some CHEAP carpet? Does not need to be thick.

A lot of companies make grey bedliner. look at Duraback or Herculiner

yes they do, but they make it in entire truck bed kits for big $. I want like two spray cans for my cargo box. The white and black stuff is $7 at Wally-world.

Carpet anyone?

Check at the warehouse stores....
It shouldn't be hard to find something cheap...
Maybe you could find some low density carpet designed for cars...
Carpet used for fishing boats claim to be snag proof and are ultra durable...

Any decent auto or marine upholstry (sp) shops can help you out.
Look in the Yellow Book.
They have matched vinyl and carpet for me on numerous occasions.

Here are a couple of places, do a Google search for speaker carpet. Comes up with a bunch. I plan on geting some for a rear cargo box myself. Will wait till warm weather comes around again to start that project.

herc it, spray paint it grey :dunno:

i painted the herc on my rockers when it started fading with some .99 gloss black a year ago. it still looks good
