Check Engine light on! Anybody help pull codes???

Hey gang,

While I was wheeling on Gold Mtn this weekend, my engine came on. I just hit 53K miles, so I figure it's just a dummy light to pay the dealer soem $$ to turn it off.

I ahve checked all fluids, hoses, etc... No leaks (unusual), no problems, just an irritating light.

Anybody have a computer to pull the codes, reset the light, maybe even a "power programmer" to reprogram a 2000 XJ 4.0/auto?

I am in OC and would like to get this today or tomorrow. I have school on Wed and going out of town Thur (4 days).

quickest way to find out what is wrong is.... take it to somone pay 30$ bucks and they will pull codes and tell you what is wrong! then replace any bad sensors... it's as simple as 123
