Hey everyone, heard about the forum today while at the Toys 4 Tots Drive in Chicago. My names Sky, I have a 97 XJ with a 4.5" Rubicon lift and some minor engine mods. Looking to swap axles next then go for some more hight and power. Here is the link to my Offroad picture album, there are also pics of my Jeep there:

Besides Jeeps, I have a 93 CBR600, I love to ride and am getting into stunting. Im into pretty much anything with a motor. And just so everyone can see who I am, here is a link to a pic of me:

Anyway, I hope to get to know yall better soon, and definatly to learn!

Welcome.

Hope T4T was fun and successfull. Would have liked to attend but had to work.

Good luck with you stunts. I have a '03 Buell XB9R and the best I can do is 1st gear wheelies. I'm too much of a wuss to try any more than that. I worked a Buell demo last summer and got to watch and meet Craig Jones. Don't know if you know him but he is the HD/Buell stunt rider. He and his partner Wing are awesome, nuts, but awesome.

Welcome Sky ... careful doing stunts with those crotch rockets. I understand the thrill though ... rode dirt bikes several years back ... loved to jump. Now I get my thrills running slower with less chance of falling off.

Nice looking Jeep and Bike ... you too.

Watch out for this guy Sky. He's a dirty old man (and my hero).
Anyway, welcome to the MWC.

Sky does not look like much of a dirty old man to me.
I wonder if she will have Phunk-level clout for being a blonde in a Heep?
JU, I beckon thee.

ya... I remember talkin to ya... I commented on how you tore into a your '97.

I used to race a supersport prepped GSXR 750 (late bored out to 907) with Airtech Yoshimura bodywork, rode it on the street too... That and a 2 stroke RZ350 at Elkhart Lake WI

the Gixer got stolen a while back, haven't gotten over her...

my 3yr old daughter kinda keeps me from being a (2) wheeled fool anymore but I plan on a Ducati 996 sometime soon.
and remember...

Saweet!
My dad had a car just about like that! Well his was a little closer to stock. I loved riding in it when I was little, what year is that one? I think his was a '65 or '66.

Glad you decided to check us out Sky, welcome. Hmmm.....you seem to feel the need for speed....you don't have a sister named Paula by any chance??

Hope to wheel with you soon.

Rev

No sister named Paula, but one named Chelsea who wheels an Xterra. I know I know, its not an XJ, but at least she wheels.

Im going to Tx for Christmas, but will be back around Jan 8th. Im going to swap out my rear axel to a 9" around then. And after that I hope to get a big offroad trip together. Its been a long time since I got to really thrash my Jeep. ;)

Mines a '68 Fairlane 500 FB. 289+.030. I'm running 12.65 on motor and 12.1 with NOS. But I'm having problems with traction that I'm hoping to sort out over the winter. Hoping to be into the 11's Next year. The car is completely streetable though.

I also have a '68 Fairlane wagon I'm getting ready to do. I'm thinking of a 408 SBF for that.
