coil spacers

hello, I'd like to install coil spacers 1 inch of Pro Comp at the front of my '92 XJ for a little lift. The question is, can I leave the bumpstomp with the rubber distancering of rubber? What about the rim that is inside the coil, because I need a flat surface for the new spacer. Do I have to remove the rim?
Thanks for suggestions.

I have no idea what you just said but... if you are talking about a coil spacer all you have to do is remove the coil itself, slid the spacer over the bumpstop tower and put the coil back in, well thats the over simplified version anyway

i think you are talking about the coil spring isolator. pull the isolator off, install spacer. you can then put the isolator back on or leave it off.
