Any idea how bad it is to have water in your manual tranny? I drained and changed it, but am I screwed or what?

a good fluid change should be sufficent. what did you use for fluid?

if it was only in there for a day or something a good drain and refilll 2x will probably save it
unlike an auto, yours is not doomed after contact w/water
