ticking noise, NOT from engine....

While I do have a ticking (very common tick tick tick on 4L's) on the passenger side there is a little container near the AC condensor. It has two lines that go to it that run the length of the fire wall to the drivers side.

Now its pretty loud, and when i put my hand on it I can feel it shake with every tick. Now what does this little container even do?? its just there heh. I'll post a pic up tomorrow if I can, until then does ANYONE have a clue what it is? (or even what I'm talking about lmao.) :sunshine:

Its the purge solenoid. it is normal for that to make that noise.
