OBD2 code reader anyone?

:wantyou: any one have an OBD2 code reader on here that i could barrow for a couple days? in denver metro/ burbs. boulder, to Hi ranch, 225 west to golden? anyone?

You can have Autozone scan the codes for free. I've seen the cheap readers for under $40 as well.
 
I know that this will work on the '97s - I've heard that it will and will not on later XJ's - give it a try...

To read codes:

Cycle key to 'On' position (Key on engine off KOEO), and back off three times. On the third cycle leave it in the 'on' position...

On - Off - On - Off - On
 
? thats how you clear codes is it not? how exactly could you read the codes any way? if you have a reader you only have to turn the key on and you can cleer them form reader usualy
