I've got a "92 XJ w/ABS and recently I have noticed (and been told by some angry drivers) that my rear brake lights don't come on all the time.
I estimate tht they fail to come on every 4th time I step on the pedal. They will fail for the next 2 pedal presses then seem to work normally for a few stops then fail again.
I've tried to adjust the brake light switch but that didn't make any difference. Do I need a new switch or is this a more major electrical problem?
