Is it possible to swap the out put shaft on the AW4? Is it economically feasible? or should i just swap in a whole "new" 23 spline tranny?

To swap out the output shaft requires complete dis-assebly of the transmission!

newer ones are cheap, and have a .75 rather than a .705 ratio OD (which was good for me). I could have gotten a 21 spline AW4 for free, but I opted to wait and got a 23 spline with t-case for under $300. Besides, where would you get just the shaft anyway? how much would that run?
