3.4 motor mounts with 2.8's?

I'm about to drop in a 3.4 into my 85 Cherokee, but I noticed that the motor mounts on the 3.4 are quite different than that of the 2.8. I was wondering if the 3.4 mounts match up to the 2.8 mounts that are in the engine bay. For some reason it looks like it will hold the engine up to high or something.

What vehicle did the 3.4L come from? You should just be able to use the 2.8L mounts. That's what I've heard at least, I haven't done it myself yet. Still waiting for the 2.8L to die.

Use the 2.8 mounts. I've done it. It works.

FYI. If you're going to use the MPFI you have to cut a hole out of the right side motor mount to make room for the nock sensor.
