Would it slip into a 91 AX-15 w/np231 without any difficulties ?? Thinking of trying to do this little swap...

sorry guys figured out spline count is different.

The spline thing can be worked out, but from what I hear, using the 242 behind a manual tranny can lead to premature failure. I was told a coupling inside wouldn't hold up to the shock loads of a manual.

I may be totally wrong since all my info is hearsay.
