might be a little tight I have 30x9.50x15s stock on my 94 with no rubbing. I cant remember but I think the 245x75x16 is just a little taller than the 30 I maybe wrong

humm thats what i was thinking i have an oppurtunity to get the tires free but dont have money for a lift or anything

IIRC i have the tires mentioned above on my cherokee, and i have no probs with it. i would go w/ the tires, and if anything just adjust your steering stops.
