Sorry if I'm beating a dead horse here, but...
1) What is the factory stock height of an XJ suspension and where is that measured from/to (front and back)?
2) How much lift can an XJ (accepting custom fab'ed parts) take before it is no longer acceptable as a daily driver?

#1-measured from center of hub to bottom flair front 17"-back 17.5"(might want to search as i am not entirely sure)

#2-its all how you build it

this is referred to as "the dirty method" since you might have to get a little dirty, works well if you have trimmed your fenders

Thanks guys that gives me a good baseline to mod from.

btw: If I didn't want to get dirty I'd have gone after the woodgrain H2 with the gold plated mud flaps! :laugh2:
