Dana 44 pinion shaft with C-clips?

All 44s i have seen used a spring(roll) pin.The 35 may have a bolt or pin.30,s have the pin toodandecicco said:

Nope, it is a trac-lok factory case (87 is a strange year as the production date is late 86 and it was made in Canada so who knows why it is in there). It is kind of a dead point now. Spool on Ebay (buyer here backed out) and had a buddy who owns a diff. shop weld the spiders for me. He has done this many times for drag racers and others, so I am happy with it. But thanks for the reply.
