Alright I've seen som kinda black panels that go along bottom of doors and at the rear around gas door-look like they screw right into body?. Cant find them. Dont really Know how to describe them other than that- all I kno is that they look fuctional and good- so I want 'em ! any info or a link would be great!

Are you talking a type of plastic?

If so check this out, its what I'm thinking of getting.

85705K37

Static-Dissipative UHMW Sheet 1/4" Thick, 24" X 48", Black
$ 45.64 Each

Color: Opaque black
• Temp. Range: -40° to 185° F, unless noted
Impact Strength: Excellent
• Low friction
• Not rated as an electrical insulator
• Use indoors and outdoors
• Machine with standard tooling
• Hardness: Shore D69, unless noted
Material has good wear and impact resistance plus a surface that reduces static electricity. Use in applications where dust and static electricity are a concern.

Not sure if its uv resistant though, although it does say you can use it outdoors.

To bad they aren't steel. One thing you have to be carefull with though, if water and/or dirt gets behind the panels, it will rust your doors and fenders in no time at all, espcially if you get salt either ocean or winter road salt.

I know of other ones that look like the ones in the pic, I'm still looking but can't seem to locate them at this time.

Whoa, this is kinda cool. Paint protection magnetic sheets. Keeps your nice paint from getting brush burns. I could care less, but its a cool idea for those part time wheelers. http://www.offroadarmor.com/index.html

Yeah, Richard beat me to the ones i was thinking of...those are definately sweet, and ill be picking up a set. i also like the rear quarter gaurds, but im not sure if that same company has them or not. rocklizards ones just seem too much for me, maybe ill just fab some up out of black d-plate or something. Similar to these on Mac's jeep http://community.webshots.com/photo/43317166/43317463gBrBqd

I have a set of rear 1/4 guards from Performance MW: HERE Email and ask them about them as they are not listed on their website.

The ones pictured are a set that I make. www.PerformanceMW.com. I would stay away from diamond plate. It tends to grab instead of slide across rocks....I know because I have been making these for 5 years now.

This is the type of stuff I'm thinking about using on body panels and under body.

...having said that, that plastic stuff sounds like it has potential...

2 Bucks for Ice Tea, you rip off, haha. I really like the look of em. If I had black ones, I bet they would look awesome on my rig. They aren't to expensive, so its a possability, and if you say they are good....

Hey Brian, where was that last picture taken?
