Sealing Lights

I just mounted some Hella FF50 lights in the stock foglight locations on my '01 XJ. The lights don't seem perfectly waterproof, so I was going to run a bead of something around the lens where it meets the housing. I need to find something waterproof and heat resistant that is not permanent (the lenses would have to be removed to replace the bulb). Any ideas? An RTV silicon perhaps?

or you can purchase gasket maker, cut it out (round, square/etc.), and place it between the lens and the housing (sandwich it) making a seal.
