u-joint!

I have a 94 xj with about seven inches in the rear, and the chrylsler 8 1\4 diff. I go through u a u-joint about every 3 months. On both sides of the rear drive line. Any sugestions on what to check for or how to correct the problem? Thanks

...and do you have a SYE? If not you need one.

Ditto!!

The problem is your driveline angles, but you HAD to already know that. Add shims to the rear end to adjust the pinion angle and/or drop the t-case a little to correct the angles. The angle of the upper t-case u-joint and the pinion u-joint should be less than 3 degrees different from each other.

Then save up and buy a slip yoke eliminator!
