low gears= carrier stress?

I've been pondering... :read:
My 4:88s took alot of driveline stress from the engine/tranny/t-case combo, and transfered it to the axles. SO, would a light-duty TAD or carrier become a weak link? :dunno: It seems if the stress is transfered to anything ouward of the R&P, that would include the carrier.
Watcha'll think?

Up front Id say axles/u-joints(youve still got the Thorsen, right?).Youve got a D44 rear but I dont recall what you put in it,so maybe a lunch box would be the weakest link!

Yep, I've still got the Torsen LS in front. It's been awesome in all conditions, and really excels in the snow. The rear D44 has a No-Slip.
