The NW Chapter is having a meeting to discuss future events and some other topics. We will be meeting Saturday, Sept 11th at 9AM.

At the meeting we will set up future quarterly meetings to handle club issues and topics. This will make planning events much easier and hopefully help our chapter grow.

Please post up if you are planning on attending (and how many in your group), so we can get a headcount for reservations. Also if you can't attend and would like to add a topic for discussion, please let us know.

just a heads up this is the same weekend that the PNWD40 does their annual beach clean up at Ocean Shores. might want to look at another weekend as I would assume most of the locals would be outta town.

Sat at 2:00pm??

I want to attend these meetings and I know that there is no perfect time for everyone but how about a Weekday evening? I just can not afford to take time out of the middle of my weekend to go to a meeting.

I have other events on Weekday evenings that I would miss to come to a meeting a few times a year, but there is no way I am giving up a weekend of camping, 4wheeling, etc, etc. to go to a meeting.

Just my input.
I really want this to work out and grow!!

If it`s on a weekend ,I think a early morning meet then go wheel for the day,Make it an outing

Re: NW Chapter meeting, Sept 18th...

Well, with our demographic, we were hoping a weekend daytime would attract more out of towners up to the Seattle area for the meeting. As is, our BOD is spread from the Canada boarder to Longview. Makes the weekdays a bit hard. Also, makes early morning a bit tough too.

XJourney is going to be in Seattle anyway for a wedding, so he was looking to kill 2 birds.

So, how does everyone feel about Saturday, Sept 25th at 9 AM? Or is 8 AM doable for the out of towners? Hans, you have a 2 hour drive right?

If we do want to do a wheeling trip, maybe we should meet for breakfast closer to our destination. Another problem is finding a place that is set up for a meeting such as this, where we are not going to disturb many people. Most of these little breakfast places are packed on Sat/Sun morning, which would defeat the purpose of having a meeting in the first place.

I'm open for suggestions.

You mean it? :)

My personal experience says that meeting in the morning on Sat/Sun has never been a problem. We always just phoned ahead to let them know a party of X amount of folks is coming, but not a reservation. Denny's, for example, has larger tables/booths for this sort of thing. As for disturbing people, I don't really think that's possible unless we're playing combat Bingo or something. :D

I'm 9am-4pm at work on Saturdays, but I'm off Sunday when the shop is closed. I'd really like to show up if I can...

What about the 11th of Sept. at 9:00am and then we can mozey on over to the PNWJeep Meet and greet. and then those who want can head out to Evans creek.
That is a full day of fun.

How does that sound?

Yes Steve it is a 2 hour drive for me so 8 am is alittle early for me, I would have to get up at 5:15 am on a saturday. But if 8am is what works best for everyone then I can be a trooper and quit being a winey biatch. :twak:

Done, now we just need to pick a place. I don't think Billy McHale's is open, so it's probably going to be a breakfast place like Denny's.

FYI, IF you guys are planning on stopping by the Meet and Greet, and will be in Auburn anyways....The Iron Horse Casino on 15th Street in Auburn has GREAT food, very cheap, and has a large banquet type room that would easily accomodate a large group.

What time does the Iron Horse open? 9am?
If not where are we going to meet? Denny's, IHOP,?
I am not familiar with Auburn so I am of no help.
