Hey guys, I have a dana 44 in my 87 cherokee and it's an automatic and theres 4.5 inches of lift so I wanted to put in a manual driveshaft because they're longer. I just noticed that somebody had said that the dana 44 driveshafts were different than the rest of the driveshafts so I was wondering if this is true and if so could I use a driveshaft from a different type of axle as long as it's longer?

A Dana 35 driveshaft should be about 5/8 of an inch longer, for the same transmission.
