Mean Green and K&N

Anyone have any takes on Mean green filters vs. K&N. Saw demonstration at Carisle and they seem better. Thought about getting a Fipk kit and sticking on a bigger Mean Green filter- advantages/ disavantages- would this work?

I always thought that the powerstack filter was best best airflow for the size.
