Gear Lube

Gona change gear lube soon. Should I use synthetic or regular. 80W-90 or 75W140? Will it hurt to change over to synthetic after reg has been in it. Will it hurt to run synth only in the back since front was changed not long ago?

Do you tow? if you do not tow stick with the 80/90 or 75/90. I used plain old lube for a while then switched to durablend. Synth is also nice but expensive and unless you tow you don't really need it.
