TC drain/fill plugs..

OK so i went to change the transfer case fluid on my 2000, and i was expecting to use like a socket or a wrench. When I got under there, both plugs look like they take around a 1/2 inch hex tool/key. Might be metric size, but i dunno-I dont have any hex tools that big. Can anybody verify the size?? Thanks in advance. -Shawn

I don't remember the size, but what I did was find a bolt head that fit the hole and threaded 2 or 3 nuts on it. I chinched each nut down and added some super glue thus making a peice of hex bar. Find a socket to fit it and you are in business

It's a 10mm hex.
