light

i have an interior neon that i tried to wire to a switch and couldnt get it back working. i bought a switch from advanced auto and it has two prongs on the bottom, i tried puttin a wire straight to the batter and having the light attached also. can someone maybe think of what i am doing wrong? thanks guys

make sure you have a nice clean ground...trust me it makes ALL the difference. oh yea make sure your getting power
