movement in Park

I don't think this is a problem. Like your steering wheel, there is space between the engagement points. Your vehicle should move to lock in.

A more serious question is why are you experiencing this? I was taught to leave my foot on the brake until both the parking position and E-Brake were applied. If you are not using your E-Brake, you could damage the mechanism for Park. That is you or someone who rear ends you. I would rather have my tires skid, in such a situation, than have to repair the transmission along with all the other damage. I believe the Park position to be a back up for the E Brake rather than the other way around.
