Lug Nut Question....

I am going from Alum. Mickey Thomsons wheels to Black Steelies (aka Rockcrawlers). AM I going to need a ball seat for the steelies or tapered seat?

I cant really tell by looking at the new wheels............

Standard tapered seat. Those wheels aren't the strongest in the world (which is why they are cheap), so get over-sized lug nuts if you can. Either the 13/16 chrome ones from the chain stores, or I think Summit Racing sells extra large lug nuts for racing applications.

Best damn lug nuts I've seen in my past 3 years changing tires are McGard units (www.mcgard.com), they sell a complete install kit with wheel locks (the good kind too, ones they use OEM on many imports ie: Honda/Acura, Toyota/Lexus) for like $30 at summitracing.com

Cross reference the part number from the McGard site onto Summit.
