Jeep Cherokee's with 4 front Headlights.

I was driving today, and saw a Cherokee with 4 front headlights, after doing a little diging on the internet I found the pictures above. They are all I believe 80's Jeep Wagoneer Limited's.

So my questions are:

1.) What years was this grill available?
2.) Was it available in the US?
3.) Is there a year that will fit on a 1995 Cherokee?
4.) Could you run the standard 1995 lights in either the bottom or top spot, and run performance lights in one of the other spots? (The lights look like they are two different sizes, and I am assuming that one is a High Beam and the other is al Low beam.)

Just curious, I am sure I would be better off just buying an aftermarket Light bar, or front bumper with some additional light tabs. But it would allow you to get some lights out of the way in a very clean instalation. Not so sure I am crazy about the look compared to a normal Cherokee.

Yes they're available in the USA.. Mine is an 87 Wagoneer Limited. I think they were only made with that grill up till 89. They're basiclly loaded Cherokees. Kind of a cross between the XJ and the Grand Cherokee(Full size) of the time. I don't think you could use 95 lights because the 4 light setup has smaller lights and all 4 are the same size.

They were made through 1990. The headlights are smaller than yours, and put out much less light. If you wanted to use them, you'd probably need the whole header panel from the Wagoneer. I don't know if it would just bolt up, but it probably would. You don't want those lights though...regular XJ lights are bad enough, and those are considerably worse.

Just replace the lights with either Hella or cibie, they both make the smaller rectangular lights, 165mm w/replaceable bulbs, they use H1 bulbs available from 55w up to 130w.
