Will an MJ transfercase crossmember work on and XJ and is it an upgrade? I have read that there are more attachment points, but do the 4 XJ ones work?

MJ trans case Crossmember in XJ?

It will work, but the crossmember itself isn't an upgrade. There are extra brackets that mount it to the inboard side of the frame rails on the MJ, in addition to the 4 standard bolts/studs.
