ZJ seats in an XJ

I have heard about many people putting Grand Cherokee seats in their XJs. How hard is it to adapt the tracks to an XJs floorboard OR......is it easier to adapt the XJ tracks to ZJ seats?

I wheeled with a guy who did it. It was a few years ago and I didn't look closely. All I remember is that he said it "involved a bit of work." My impression is that he adapted the ZJ seats to sit on the XJ pedestals, but I'm not certain on that.

Huh, I suppose I should take a look at the bros 95 ZJ and see how close it would be to adapt the seats to my current tracks. I was thinking that would be the only way I'd do it though because I have no desire to drill into the floorboards. Thank you.
