Tire Question Please

Hi Gang,

With a 3" inch lift on my 98 can I temporarily run 32 inch meats exclusively on the highway? Only asking because I have to put new tires on her this fall but won't have the $$$ to lift her again until next spring. I wouldn’t enjoy buying another set of 31x10.5's right now only to have to rip them off next spring.

Thanks for the reply. Sure can't avoid pot holes. :laugh2: So I've got a 2 1/2" OME with .75 spacers up front and full size MJ shackles in the rear to bring her to 3". Also have an SYE and a Tom Wood shaft. What could I do to modify this existing lift enough (with the fewest $$$ possible) to fit 32's under her so I can run her on the highway until spring after which I can put a different lift under her?

you can always take the flares off and then remount them higher, or just toss em and trim

trim the fenders, move the flares, or extend your bumpstops.

hell just run it flareless, it still looks nice that way and saves you a bundle. you can do that until someone tells you otherwise

I would just extend the bumpstops and drive it like that while you decide where you want to go with it.
