Truck has 213,000 miles on it with unknown service records. Depressed clutch and felt snap. Now clutch can not be pushed in at all. Fluid low in master cylinder. External slave with no bleeder valve at either cylinder. How do I disconnect the hydraulic line from the master cylinder?
And would it be worth replacing both cylinders before getting into the clutch itself?

Before you go the MC route, check the linkage under the dash. The jack shaft the clutch rides on simply snapped on my rig giving roughly the same symptoms. Don't for get to look for the simple things first.

its a one piece hydraulic control unit. if you cannot push the pedal down, it sounds like the clutch fork inside the bell housing jammed up. sometimes the retainer on the fork breaks and causes this to happen.
