The warped brake discs on my '01 Sport are getting to be too much to live with anymore, so it looks like the double-tube rocker guards are going to have to wait for a bit. I'm thinking of going with the Raybestos BR7142 Brutestop vented and cross-drilled discs;hopefully, this will help extend longevity of the discs.
Has anyone tried these in their XJ, and, if so, how did you like them? Was pad life decent after the changeover? Would you recommend another brand over these? I do like the price - under $100 each, and available from my neighbourhood Kragen so no shipping charges.
