new 89 XJ

I recently bought an 89 Cherokee Laredo, 4.0, 4wd AW-4 trans, 215k miles, pretty much stock all around. The dealer said an owners manual would be impossible to get (although he did offer it before checking availability).

Is it possible to get a copy, PDF scan, or other 'soft' copy of one? I'd like to go through it as it's my only Jeep, and other than Chilton, I have no docs on it :-(

Try ebay they have them all the time. Just so you know one you drive a jeep for a while its in your blood.Your one of us!

do a quicky search for the pdf/adobe file on the electronics/FI for it- its on the net. It covers almost all of everything underhood- anything else can be diag. through chlintons, or in here.

In fact, almost every XJ problem has a solution from these guys.

if you cant find it, hollar, I got it on the harddrive here somewhere...
