Hopefully, I'll be in a beginning C Programming class soon, and I know I'll need projects. Not only that, but I get tired of keeping various formulae in my hat for reference, and wondering where my calculator went (I can do math on paper, but the digital method is much quicker!)
SO, my question is this: I will be working on two or three specialised calculators, which will be written to PalmOS (and probably portable to WinCE, for the degenerate PocketPC users... ) They will likely be basic ballistic formulae (internal, external, and some terminal ballistic info; ) engine math (of use to engine builders and modifiers; ) and drivetrain math (mostly gear ratios, shift points, and such.) Here, finally, is my question - what would you want to see on something like this? I'm not going to give my list just yet, I want to see what everyone else thinks.
This is the sort of thing that would be in your pocket (in the shop or at the range, obviously) and something you would be looking for a quick right answer when you need it. It will be interesting to see what all of you come up with...
