I just installed my new Daystar tranny mount and low and behold nothing lines up now. I wave Rusty's motormounts and had a heck of a time getting them in several years ago. Also it seems that the poly trany mount is roughly 1" thicker than the stock one. this is leading to interferance problems with the radiator. So I was thinking of Rusty's X-member. Any one have any thoughts on this? I've never heard anyone running one so I thought I would ask. I am going to be running a modified ford radius arm setup also but I hope to mount that in front of the x-member.
