2000 block into 1992 4.0?

I'm jsut about positive that everything is the same. The guy at the Jyard says otherwise. I can get a 2000 engine w/ 50000 miles for 500.00. That seems like a pretty good deal. The engine still cranks. I jsut wanna make sure that I can use the new block and heads, made the manifold? I know I have to use all my electronics. Will this work?

You will need to drill and tap a hole in the back of the head for a temp sender. I'd use the old intake manifold and new exhaust manifold if it fits. If you use the intake manifold you will need to adapt the power steering pump and change the belt routing to the new style. The 2000 intake manifold is a hot seller so even if you go the easy route then you can sell that and get some of your money back.
