That doesn't unscrew.
You'll need to rotate the spacer while you press it up. It will just go over the flare.

Hell, you may be right. But I never had to unscrew anything to ever put spacers on any XJ.

Depends on the year, some have the bumpstop holder screwed onto the coil bucket. Others, like myself, had it welded when it came from the factory. Either way just grease it up and slide it over while rotating it. Or you can take a rubber mallet to help you once it has been started.
