My setup

96 XJ SPort, RE 5.5 Lift, Mickey Thomson Alum. wheels 15X8 and unknown offset (backspacing) with BFG MT 31's.

Any ideas what the offset on these wheels is? I got a set of 32X9.5's on 15X7's for a backup set of wheels coming, will they be about the same overall?

Thanks..........

it's impossible to say, there are so many different backspacings available. measure it by laying something flat across the wheel (not the tire bulge) on the back side and measure down to the wheel mounting surface. This is your backspacing, subtract 4 from it for offset on the 8" wheels, and 3.5 for the 7" wheels.

To be more accurate, add another 1/2" to each of the above figures, making them 4 1/2" for the 8" wheel and 4" for the 7" wheel. Otherwise, you are not accounting for the flange width which is usually slightly less that 1/2" per side. In other words, an 8" wheel is almost 9" form edge to edge.

Those wheels are very likely 3.25" backspacing (maybe 3.75"), but measuring or looking in the wheel catalog (should be able to be done online) is the only way to know for sure.
