Welded Dif

alright well everyone probably knows this except me. So with that siad what does it mean to weld the rear dif and how do you do it. And yes i already did the search but didnt find any thing. Thanks alot

There are many threads on this. Here is a recent one.

Basically, it means to weld the spider gears together to prevent any differential action between the axles, locking them together.

Also called a Lincoln or Miller locker, because of the brand of welder used.

I have a trail rig and have no qualms about the tire wear. However, I don't put many street miles on it.
