I remember sommeone here talking about what to use to cut out fenders. But I did a search and didnt find what I was lookin for. What should I use to cut my fenders? :helpme:

pretty much any tool that will cut metal

I used a die grinder with a cutoff wheel, 4" angle grinder and a pair of tin snips

the die grinder takes a bit more time but you can get a cleaner cut with it

jig saw works good

Use a jig saw, it makes smooth cuts and is a bit steadier than a sawzall.

yup, jigsaw. Get a progressive metal blade (or several actually). We nicknamed my hitachi "carl lewis" that day because it ran through it like a champion.

use a dremel, clean cut and easy, just expect to use about 2 to 4 disks per front fender, depends on how hard you push it. backs can be done with 2 for both

I have seen a post where they taped a line where they wanted it, and then they cut lines up to the tape and then they folded it up, no welding required, then you can hold the bent pieced inplace with pop rivits.
