Help! the jeep wont start!!!!

long story short i was off in the woods and got stuck in a mud pit, i drove into the pit and after a couple seconds of being in there the jeep shut off, we got the jeep out of the pit and tried to start and it wouldnt. it would crank and sounded like it wanted to turn over but it wont. thought it was the starter so we replaced it today and now the jeep wont even crank, tried to replace the battery still no crank. what could be the problem??

almost sounds to me like it could be your alternator, or your ignition switch, but I could be wrong.

water in the dizzy?

make sure your ground wires are all good? Neutral saftey switch full of gunk? Depends on renix or ho on how to bypass the nss...just to see right?
