It should, the xj only changes a little, the grille and hatch and the b pillar I think thats all. I could be wrong about the changes but I'm 99.9% sure the seat will fit.

The answer is yes. As far as I know all seats are interchangeable from 84 through 93 or 94. I'm not quite sure about 94. 95 and later seats have a different mounting base and won't fit.
