I guess this is modified tech question..

I am upgrading my 84 cv joints on the front axle with axles from a disconect 87 front axle... so I can get the ujoint.

I pulled the outer axle shafts on the 87... i didn't bother grabbing the inner one on the passenger side... my question is.. Do I need to run back and get it? or is the one in my 84 the same..
