Whats the biggest coil spring I can get? All I know of are 8", I'd like around a 12" coil....

I'm goin 60 front 14 rear, I've been told that a stock XJ coil fabbed in the rear (for a rear 4 link set up) can give you 8" lift, I have 4" coils up front and am puttin them in the rear. I want to match the front (obviously) without using a spacer....Just sold my 35's, my 38" sx's are next too my chair

Raise the spring pad on the axle housing, you can make it any height you want.

Thought about that, I remeber seeing a set of 12" coils for an XJ for sale here and on pirates a while ago, I think they were custom made though....

find some f-150 lift coils (8 inch maybe) ive heard those work, but they would have a stiff spring rate im assuming

Ya, I've been putting a lot of thought into coilovers too.....it's up in the air at the moment. If I can find a decent used set I'll prolly go that route....

i am running 38.5 sx's with 8" zj coils that is 3" less then you want maybe you can try that?
maybe you dont need a xj that tall?

I'm runnin about 8-9 inches now, but with fullwidths, I want to have the space to move.
Where are some good deals on coilovers I looks into this a little further....

full width should allow you to run a little less lift vs's not-full-width axles

whats the differance between airshocks and coilovers....pro&cons?

fox air shocks dont work, I live .4 miles from there off road dept. and am good friends with the general manager. We threw a pair on my xj and the weight of the truck is too heavy, so they hooked me up w/ coilovers Yah they have the springrate, but when your at 350psi and over 130cc's of oil, your looking at a gernade under your jeep.
