Tj Flares question

I am doing a 97+ cip swap on my MJ and the older rear flares dont match at all it looks pretty stupid. I was wonding how well rear TJ flares would match with the 97+ front flares. Also when you install TJ rear flares does the flare extand all the way to the bottom of the panel? I allways see people cuting them up really high.
