alright, so running 8" of lift pretty much is TOO MUCH for stock XJ setup. basically, my truck is aligned at stand still, but when i hit a bump... the toe-end alignment gets all out of whack causing premature tire wear. What are my options, other than an OTK conversion? Will the rusty tierod conversion help this problem? i've heard the early ones had problems, but they've been refined since.

PS, i have a 1" drop pitman too. Is the OTK inevitable or what? i just don't have the cash at hand...

if you dont have the cash for a otk setup, maybe you should try a sky jacker pitman arm, or check out goferit offroad for a tie rod flip kit. and see if that corrects your prob good enough.
