Do you think I could get away with this without cutting into the pinch seam in the rear? I don't mind hacking, but shade-tree welding sheetmetal is not what I had in mind.

What do you think? If so could this be effective on the trail?

no, but you don't have to weld. Cut perpendicular to the fender then fold it over.

Is there any way to make the rear fender look "clean" with folding it over? Currently I run 35's and have hacked as far as she'll go on both ends, but it looks nice. :sunshine: I still try to keep her as pretty as I can.
