MJ almost done

Well I got my MJ back on the road finally have to get my bumpers built and bolted on this week. Also need to mount my front shocks but so far it rides and drives great.

I put a f250 hp44 in the front quick lok locker
14bolt welded rear
5.13 gears
4 wheel disc brakes
home made hi-steer arm for crossover steering
4" YJ leafs up front
stock pack in rear with AAL and 2" block for time being

Need to finish a couple more things up before wheeling cleanup run this weekend.

do you have any pics of the front crossmember attachment? It looks kinda like my 4x4 angle one.

you sure those are 4" springs? I have 3.5" YJ springs and they have quite a bit more arch.

I hate u-bolts like those, hangin down. I would make it a priority to find some that will work the other way.

Yes I am gonna flip the bolts just didn't have time yet. The rust well it slowly gets cut away lmao I'm gonna paint it this year. I don't have any pics of the crossmember but it is 4x4 angle as you said. They are 4" might just be a softer spring rate as I got them from Rusty's.

Well got it out for it's maiden voyage on May 22'nd. I'd have to say that the front leafs worked excellently. I had plenty of flex and the 5.13's were excellent with the 38's. I trimmed up the rear of the bed a little, need to go a touch more as I grooved a tire on the rock. All in all I'm glad I did the leaf swap and went to full width. There were a few spots that the length and width worked against me but others were I was glad to have em. Anyhow here's a few action shots.

how much forward is your front axle over stock? is the steering box in the stock location? how is the clearance between pitman arm and diff at driver side compression?

I believe it's about 3 inches give or take. Box is in stock location and clearance is actually pretty good still.
