Hey guys,
about a month ago i sank the ole xj in a nice waterhole while wheelin. I lost my alternator in the process. I replaced that one with a new one from Napa. last weekend at Tuttle Creek I sank in another nice hole (dang ruts) and it took about 10 minutes to get her out. Well I noticed later i had no charge again to the battery. I got her home and cleaned up the alternator to take back to Nape since it was still under warranty. I had the guy test on the bench tester and it read 14.9 which is good. Has anyone experienced this before? is it possible that the alternator just needed to dry out or is something else causing this? any help is appreciated
