Springs moving forward

I have a question.
On my 88 Comachee PU it seems that my coil springs are bowing forward and almost contacting the sway bar links.
The springs were replaced just about a year ago because they appeared to be broken. They are standard replacement springs with no lift.
It is a 2wd 4.0 with 165k on it.
On my 2000 xj there is quite a bit more space between the spring and links.
Any help will be appreciated
Thank You

How are the ball joints, how are the control arm bushings, and what are the alignment specs?

Oh, yeah -- and when the new springs were installed, did the installer get the end of each spring properly seated in the pocket on the spring seat pad?
